Colonial Downs STAKES
Purse $125,000. One And One Sixteenth Miles. (Inner turf) (Rail at 10 Feet) For Three Year Olds And Upward (registered Virginia Bred/virginia Sired). No nomination fee. $300 to enter and $300 to start. Supplementary nomination of $1,250 (which includes entry and starting fees) may be made at time of entry. $125,000, with 60% to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 11% to third, 6% to fourth and 3% to fifth. Weights: Three year olds 122 Lbs.; Older 126 Lbs. Non-winners of a sweepstakes since January 1 allowed 2 Lbs.; of $40,000 at a mile or over on the turf in 2026, 4 Lbs. (maiden, claiming and starter races not considered). Starters and riders to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. This race will be limited to fourteen (14) starters. In the event more than fourteen entrants pass through the entry box, preference will be given to graded stakes winners (in order I-II-III), then highest turf earnings in 2025-2026. Any horse excluded due to the aforementioned preference will be refunded the entry fee and supplementary nomination fee, if applicable. Nominations closed Wednesday, June 10, 2026 with 16 nominations. Trophy to the winning owner. .
